自十九世纪中叶以来,为谋求中华民族之富强,中国的知识分子前仆后继,始终进行着不懈的努力。然而,努力中隐伏着焦虑,交织着彷徨。此种复杂心境,在近代中国早期先进知识分子当中尤其明显。梁启超更是其中的典型。其于“中国之将强与未强”这一问题的困惑,始终萦绕在他的政治探索当中。本文将通过对梁启超政治思想流变的考察,以斑窥豹,从而映射出当时中国先进知识分子的普遍心态:焦虑与彷徨。
Since the mid-nineteenth century, in order to seek the prosperity and strength of the Chinese nation, Chinese intellectuals have always worked tirelessly. However, anxiety is hidden in the effort and weaving intertwined. This complex state of mind was especially evident among early advanced intellectuals in modern China. Liang Qichao is one of the more typical examples. Its confusion over the issue of “being strong and not strong in China” always linger in his political exploration. This essay examines the changing mentality of Liang Qichao’s political thoughts in order to reveal the universal mentality of Chinese advanced intellectuals at that time: anxiety and imitation.
