大中型砂芯刷涂料费时又费力,对于湿型芯还极易损坏,为此机电部北京机床研究所密云铸造分所设计制作了结构如图所示的涂料槽装置。四根搅杆铰接在一起,在电机的驱动下左右转动,使沉积物浮动起来,保持涂料槽内涂料上下浓度均匀。为了保证槽内涂料液成分均匀,设有压缩空气管道从槽底不断吹动涂料,使其不断上下翻动。结构如图所示的吹气嘴,即使停止吹气后,涂料液也不会进入吹气管内,避免堵塞。
