The sustained price rise of crude oil and natural rubber has increased costs of tire enterprises; therefore tire enterprises in China have raised their prices in recent months.In early May Michelin(China)Invest-ment Co.,Ltd.announced that it increased the prices of sedan and light-duty truck tires by 3%-7% effective this June.Some-time before,Bridgestone,Hankook and American Continental also announced that they will raise the prices of their products.Guizhou Tire Co.,Ltd.(SZ:000589)increased prices twice,totaling around 5%,in January and April.Qingdao Yellow Sea The sustained price rise of crude oil and natural rubber has increased costs of tire enterprises; therefore tire enterprises in China have raised their prices in recent months.
