本文结合教学实践,探讨在初中英语教学中使用媒体资源作为教学的载体的意义以及如何利用各类媒体资源有效地提高学生的听、说、读、写技能.作者坚持以人为本、授之以渔的教学理念,以学生为中心,注重培养学生的交际意念和文化意识,并且在教与学过程中处处体现真实交际的特点,从而使学生对这种语言的运用产生真知真能.多层次的活动设置,全方位的语言训练,通过对西方历史文化等方面的综合理解,将语言上升到真正意义上的交流,让英语“活”起来.
