INTRODUCTION In the 1964 Alaskan Earthquake and the San Fernando Earthquake in 1971 and the Fengnan Earthquake in Tangshan, China, the lowermost tank wall of a vertical cylindrical tank was called Elephant’s foot Bulge. Or “diamond-shaped” buckling damage. In addition, there are many liquid storage tank floor and tank wall, the roof and the tank wall at the junction of fracture or partial buckling. Especially in Japan’s Niigata earthquake in 1964, serious damage was caused to the storage tanks and caused serious disasters such as fires, explosions and loss of crude oil, resulting in secondary disasters such as the pollution of the site areas, rivers and coasts, resulting in a serious loss of foreign scholars They attach importance to and actively carry out the liquid tank seismic performance and seismic reinforcement measures research.
