分布式排队双总线(DQDB)协议采用带宽平衡机制(BWB),保证了在网络重载时,在每个结点浪费掉一部分带宽的条件下,达到全网带宽分配的公平性.但它还存在着优先级管理和达到公平性稳态的时间较长等问题.在分析造成这些问题的原因的基础上,提出了一种更为有效地解决带宽分配公平性的方法,即具有时隙重用功能和抢占优先功能的、多请求多优先级BWB计数器的媒质接入控制机制(M-DQDB).这种新方法在保持原协议特点的同时,进一步改善了网络带宽分配的性能
Distributed queuing dual-bus (DQDB) protocol uses the bandwidth balancing mechanism (BWB) to guarantee the fairness of bandwidth allocation across the entire network under the condition that each node is wasted a part of the bandwidth when the network is overloaded. But it still has the problems of priority management and longer time to reach a fair and steady state. Based on the analysis of the causes of these problems, a more efficient method to solve the fairness of bandwidth allocation is presented, that is, the medium access of multi-request multiple-priority BWB counters with time-slot reuse function and preemption priority function Control Mechanism (M-DQDB). This new method further improves the performance of network bandwidth allocation while maintaining the original protocol features
