创新能力的空间分布是影响经济增长的重要因素。本文采用1997~2009年间中国30个省市自治区的统计资料,运用因子分析和聚类分析法首先测度了中国创新构成及其总体能力的空间分布状况,然后运用面板数据模型对中国创新构成及其总体能力的空间分布与经济增长的关联进行了计量实证。实证结果显示,创新总体能力对中国及其各区域经济增长具有积极作用,而在创新构成方面,全国和各区域的创新产出、中部创新环境、西部创新投入对经济增长制约较大,为此要加大中部创新环境建设,加大对西部创新投入支持力度,促进产学研结合,优化各地区创新产出结构。
The spatial distribution of innovation ability is an important factor affecting economic growth. Based on the statistical data of 30 provinces in China from 1997 to 2009, this paper uses factor analysis and cluster analysis to measure the spatial distribution of China’s innovation composition and its overall capacity. Then it uses panel data model to analyze the innovation composition of China The relationship between spatial distribution of overall capacity and economic growth has been measured empirically. The empirical results show that the overall capability of innovation plays a positive role in the economic growth of China and other regions. However, in terms of innovation composition, the output of innovations in the whole country and each region, the environment for innovation in Central China, and the innovation investment in the western regions have a greater constraint on economic growth. We should step up construction of an innovation environment in the central region, increase support for input in innovation in the western region, promote the integration of industry, education and research, and optimize the innovation output structure in all regions.
