一以20世纪80年代包头市阿善遗址的发现为肇端,迄今已在内蒙古中南部地区发现新石器时代的石城址近20座。这些石城都坐落在山地前缘或者临河的独立台地上,有石砌的城垣环绕。从空间分布上看,它们相对集中在包头附近的大青山西段南麓、准格尔旗南流黄河两岸和凉城岱海的西北岸这样三个区域内(图一)。大青山西段南麓由西向东依次分布着阿善、西园、莎木佳、黑麻板和威俊5座石
The discovery of the Ashan site in Baotou City in the 1980s was the first such discovery. To date, nearly 20 Stone Age sites have been discovered in central and southern Inner Mongolia. These are located in the rock city on the edge of the mountain or Lin independent platform, surrounded by stone walls. From the perspective of spatial distribution, they are relatively concentrated in three areas such as the south foot of the western part of Daqingshan near Baotou, the south bank of Zhunge’er Banner and the northwestern bank of Dai Dai in Liangcheng (Figure 1).
