八卦可以配八方,一曰先天方位,二曰后天方位。乾南坤北,坎西离东,震东北、巽西南、艮西化、兑东南,为伏羲先天方位,离南坎北,兑西震东,乾西北,坤西南,艮东北,巽东南,为文王后天方位。后天方位由《易大传》而来,先天方位托名伏羲,实乃宋人所造。从古今各种著述来看,凡涉及八卦与方位的词语无一用先天方位者。八卦又可与八风相配,据《淮南子·天文训》及高诱注可知,艮卦配条风(东北风),震卦配明庶风(东风)、巽卦配清明风(东南风),离卦配景风(南风),坤卦配凉风(西南风),兑卦配阊阖风(西风),乾卦配不周风(西北风),坎卦配广莫风(北风)。 Gossip with eight directions, one said innate position, the second day after tomorrow position.
