Not long ago there was a news that a village held a village assembly to remove the director of the original village committee by more than the majority of votes. The dismissed village director unconvinced, looking for township leaders to tell. After the village authorities investigated the village, they did not find any problems such as unclear or unlawful laws of the director. Many villagers also expressed no reason why they should support the recall. They merely said they were “displeased with their eyes.” In view of the fact that the director has lost his popularity, in order to support the villagers’ enthusiasm for political participation and government discussion, the township government supports the opinions of the majority of villagers.
