计算机的存储设备根据数据存储时间长短分为,易失性存储设备和非易失性存储设备两大类。这两类存储器在存储容量和数据读取速度上有很大的差别,非易失性存储器在数据读取速度上一直是一大诟病,虽然已经出现了万转的TB级别的硬盘,但是依旧没有提高它的读取,同时还带来了高耗能和高热量。这些都与目前计算机发展的方向不相符,为了改善这种情况,在硬盘以外出现了其他的非易失性存储器。SSD、NVDIMM和3DXPoint是其中的代表。
