所谓中国传统吉祥图案,要追溯到中国古代的各种文化图腾,是中国古代劳动人民在科学文化水平相对较低的情况下用来解释自然现象和文化现象所创造出来的各种各样的装饰纹样,其中大都寄托着对规避天灾人祸的祈福和对美好幸福生活的向往。这些装饰纹样在中国装饰艺术发展的历史中扮演着极为重要的作用。随着现当代标志设计艺术的发展以及对于传统文化艺术的回归和探索,越来越多的传统元素被应用于现当代的标志设计中去并取得了很好的效果。本文将通过两个层次四个方面,即形式和色彩两个外在表现因素及意义和气势两个内核元素,对这个问题进行一个由表及里的全面分析。
