Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are a group of highly conserved proteins that are constitutively or inducibly expressed in all cells and organisms. They have a great intracellular function and are generally thought to play a protective role in different stresses. In recent years, aberrant expression of HSPs has been detected in various diseases, including tumors. To explore its role in the pathogenesis and treatment of pancreatic cancer has become the focus of scholars. Now on the relationship between HSPs and pancreatic cancer are reviewed.
