和龙市位于吉林省延边朝鲜族自治州南部,是朝鲜族主要聚居地区,与朝鲜民主主义共和国隔江相望。据调查了解,和龙市早已成为朝鲜非法越境人员的主要通道。仅1999年一年就侦破此类案件32起。在抓获的2625名朝鲜非法越境人员中就有689名是从和龙边境地区非法越入我国境内。因此,要打击遏制拐卖朝鲜妇女犯罪活动,首先要堵住和龙市这个源头,切断这个通道。 Helong City, located in the southern part of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, is a major enclave of Koreans and faces the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea across the river. According to the survey, Helong has long been the main channel for illegal cross-border personnel in North Korea. In the year 1999 alone, 32 such cases were detected. Six of the 2,625 North Korean illegal border crossings captured were illegally entering the territory of China from the Heilong border areas. Therefore, in order to crack down on the criminal activities to curb the trafficking of Korean women, we must first block the source of Helong and cut off this channel.
