Objectives: To examine whether pre-school children’s gender patterns of aggressive behavior affect their memories of aggressive behavior information. Methods: Using the paradigm of error recall, 189 pre-school children were examined. Results: The error memory of children’s gender attackers and attackers attacked by girls was significantly higher than that of boy body attackers, and the error memory of girls’ body attackers in 3-year-old, 4-year-old and 5-year-old children was significantly higher than that of boys ; Children’s mistaken memories of girl-relationship attackers were significantly higher than boy-relationship attackers. CONCLUSIONS: The preschool children’s gender schemata for physical attacks and relational aggression affect their memories of relevant aggressive behavior information.
