法裔加拿大籍动画导演弗雷德里克·贝克是20世纪最杰出的动画大师之一,他开创了以动画片形式讴歌自然环境、表达生态理念的先河。《种树的人》是贝克影视动画生涯的巅峰之作,获得过包括奥斯卡最佳动画短片奖、法国安锡国际动画影展最佳动画短片奖、福冈国际电影节大奖等20多项国际奖项。这部动画电影以法国生态文学作家吉奥诺的小说为蓝本,运用自己创新性的赛璐珞动画技法,制造出别具一格的流动的印象派画面。《种树的人》集中体现了贝克注重生态意识的主题导向,以技术革新来实现动画的艺术性与文学性,把文学、音乐、绘画等多种艺术形式完美融合,从而制造出了一部兼有纪实叙事风格和印象主义画风的动画佳作。
French Canadian Canadian animation director Frederick Baker is one of the most outstanding master of animation in the 20th century. He created the precedent of singing the natural environment in the form of cartoon and expressing the concept of ecology. The Tree Man is the pinnacle of Baker’s film and television animation career. He has won over 20 international awards including the best animated short film award from Oscars, the best animation short film prize at the Anxi International Animation Film Festival in France, and the Fukuoka International Film Festival Awards. Based on the novel by French eco-writer Gion, this animated film uses its own innovative celluloid animation technique to create a distinctive flow of Impressionist images. “Tree-planting people” embodies the theme guide of Baker focusing on ecological awareness, implementing the artistic and literary nature of animation with technological innovation, and integrating various art forms such as literature, music and painting so as to create a A documentary style and impressionist style of animation masterpiece.
