The “Remote Sensing Image Information Symposium” jointly organized by China Sensitive Society Remote Sensing Technology Professional Committee and Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Professional Committee of China Surveying and Mapping Society was held in Wuxi from November 18 to November 21, 1992. The 60 experts and scholars attending the meeting came from over 30 research, teaching, industrial and mining enterprises and military departments in the country respectively, and submitted 31 papers to the conference. Topics include: Remote Sensing Sensors, Aerospace Photographic and Reproduction Films, Large-Scale Aerial Photographing, GPS Applications in Aerial Photographing, Image Reproduction Techniques, Terrain Spectrum Information, Satellite
