“新艺术运动”起源于19世纪末,19世纪的80年代是新旧世纪交替之际,新艺术运动在1890年到1910年左右达到顶峰。后来“现代主义运动”和“装饰主义运动”取代了“新艺术运动”。法国是新艺术的发源地,这场运动在法国分别是以首都巴黎和南斯市为中心。南斯市的设计范围主要集中在家具上,而“新艺术运动”在巴黎则各种各样,设计的范围包括建筑室内、家具、公共设施装饰(巴黎地铁的入口)、海报和其它平面设计。作为法国平面设计的代表人物朱里斯·谢列特的海报中的女性形象采用了一种全新的表现技法,鲜明的色彩及流畅的线条被谢列特运用于海报设计中,突破当时传统艺术风格的束缚,把艺术和那个时代特点紧密地结合在一起,使其艺术作品更加具有动感和活力,商业宣传价值也随之提高。本文主要对朱里斯·谢列特的海报设计的风格的产生与特征进行探析,从而验证谢列特在新艺术运动时期和海报设计史上的重大影响意义。
“Art Nouveau ” originated in the late 19th century. In the 19th century, when the 1980s alternated between the old and new century, the Art Nouveau peak peaked between 1890 and 1910. Later “Modernist Movement” and “Decorative Movement” replaced “Art Nouveau”. France is the birthplace of Art Nouveau, a movement centered in Paris, the capital of France, and in Nance, France. The design of the city of Nancy is mainly focused on furniture, while the “Art Nouveau” is varied in Paris, ranging from interior architecture, furniture, decoration of public facilities (Paris Metro entrance), posters and other Graphic design. The female figure in the posters of Julius Schelet, a French graphic design representative, adopts a brand new technique of expression, with distinctive colors and smooth lines being used by Schelette in poster design, breaking through the traditional art of the time The bondage of art and the characteristics of the times closely combined to make the work of art more dynamic and energetic and the value of commercial propaganda also increased accordingly. This paper mainly analyzes the generation and characteristics of the style of Julius Seret’s poster design, and then verifies the significance of Seleet in the history of Art Nouveau and poster design.
