主要介绍了ＷｅｂＧＩＳ的特点，以及ＷｅｂＧＩＳ应用的几种开发方法，较为系统地论述了利用ＡｃｔｉｖｅＸ技术开发ＷｅｂＧＩＳ应用的实现途径，并提供了ＡｃｔｉｖｅＸ控件与Ｓｅｒｖｅｒ端进行数据交换的类定义数据结构。
This paper mainly introduces the characteristics of WebGIS and several development methods of WebGIS application. It discusses the ways to develop WebGIS application using ActiveX technology systematically, and provides the class definition data structure for data exchange between ActiveX control and Server.
