为了探明水曲柳萌芽更新的最佳采伐季节和适宜保留郁闭度,在哈林场36年生的人工水曲柳林内,于1989年8月采伐10株,11月采伐476株;1990年8月、5月各采伐20株。从1990年4月中旬开始定期调查、记载各伐根的萌芽情况和优势萌条的生长量,比较其优劣。通过调查分析得出:1989年11月和1990年3月采伐的伐根萌芽率高,前者为80%,后者为90%;在直径和高生长量方面也是如此,如以1989年8月采伐的径和高各为100,则1989年11月和1990年3月采伐的便分别为162,172和161,173。通过综合分析认定:11月至3月为最佳更新采伐季节。林分保留郁闭度与伐根萌芽率,优势萌条径、高生长量呈反相关,故萌芽更新的林分保留郁闭度不能超过0.6,以0.5以下为宜。萌芽更新需及时抹去多余萌条,以保证优势萌条旺盛生长。同时,对保留的萌条基部要培土,以防倒伏和劈折。
In order to find out the best harvesting season and the optimal canopy density, we planted 10 plants in 36-year-old manchurian ash forest in Harlech field and cut them in August 1989 and 476 in November.
