本文认为《风暴眼》是现代荒诞文学又一里程碑式的力作。它深刻地揭示了作品中当代人内心世界的精神危机，展现了20世纪下半叶澳大利亚上流社会中人与社会。人与人、人与自我的矛盾和冲突，与此同时，《风暴眼》向我们展示了当代资本主义社会普遍存在的荒诞性。
This paper argues that the “Eye of the Storm” is another milestone in modern absurd literature. It profoundly reveals the spiritual crisis in the inner world of contemporary people in the works and shows the people and society in the high society in Australia in the second half of the 20th century. At the same time, the “Eye of the Storm” shows us the absurdity that prevails in contemporary capitalist society.
