佛教雕塑围绕着佛祖释迦牟尼这一题材中心而铺展成为宏大的规模,以至于后来形成了世界性的宗教。佛教在中国道家“天人合一”的思想体系和“以人为本”的民本体系影射下,将中国传统雕塑展现成“灵动之美”的艺术杰作。中国传统艺术像潺潺不息的流水般记载着文明,描绘着物化了的生命实体。佛教艺术的开放与交融不仅体现了自身文化精神和气魄,同时也体现了高超的艺术造诣。
Buddhist sculptures spread around the center of the Buddha Sakyamuni as a grand scale, so that a global religion was later formed.
