国务院总理温家宝8月1日主持召开国务院常务会议,研究调整企业退休人员基本养老金的有关政策。国务院决定,2008年～2010年连续3年继续提高企业退休人员基本养老金标准。
On August 1, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council presided over the executive meeting of the State Council to study the relevant policies on how to adjust the basic pension for enterprise retirees. The State Council decided that from 2008 to 2010, the basic pension standard for retirees should continue to be raised for three consecutive years.
