眼睛是心灵的窗户。优秀的演员,往往能用精湛的眼睛艺术,生动地刻画出角色的善恶、刚柔、悲喜,甚至用来‘说’出角色在规定情境中难以言表的心意和情感。我在学戏时,老师曾把技巧性很强的眼睛程式,如斗鸡眼、眼睛的转动、远视和近瞧等,都作为独立的项目教我。老师们还常讲起前辈艺人用点燃的香来练眼神的方法以及梅兰芳先生远视飞鸽来练眼神等轶事。可见掌握眼神的程式技巧很不容易,当我成为演员后,艺术实践告诉我,要练好技巧固然不易,但是如何运用技巧来塑造人物却是更难的事。‘双目一闭’这个眼部动作,似乎并不属于练功的项目,因为这是很一般的、人人都会的动作,去年,我在北京参加戏曲演员讲习会期间,观看了川剧小生演员晓艇专场演出的三出小戏:《逼侄赴科》、《杨广逼宫》和《放裴》,我惊奇地发现,他除了得体地把技术性很强的眼神用来刻画人物之外,还竟然运用‘双目’闭一这个简单的动作,成功地表达了角色的复杂心理状态,而且,他所扮演的潘必正、
