我认识海珊(张景欧)先生将近二十五年,其间虽然接触的机密不多,而海珊先生给我的影响却不少,特别是最近三年我们在复旦大学共同工作,过從很密,认识最深,因而使我感动的地方也最多。 记得1951年冬天,我还在江南大学教课的时候,有一天上午海珊先生打电话问我借尤佛洛夫氏的“昆虫与气候”一书,我问了他的住处跑去看他,才知道他因病请假從北京回上海休养,准备写些关於“蝗虫’的稿子(中华书局约稿),而且有以写稿终身之意。 I know Mr. Hussein (Mr. Zhang Jingou) for nearly twenty-five years.
