油田开发进入中后期,随着含水的上升,油井结垢矛盾凸显,结垢引起球座漏失、垢卡、管网堵塞、站内设备堵塞成为制约生产运行的棘手问题。球座漏失、垢卡一般通过检泵维护作业恢复产能,结合检泵作业对井筒开展化学防垢配套,能够有效抑制油井结垢。集输管网设备一般采用传统酸洗清垢,具有易造成金属损伤缺失,产生有毒有害气体,无法酸溶硫酸钡锶垢的缺陷。介于此,复合物理清垢工艺应运而生。
