2005年2月引入黄金梨在河南省西部浅山丘陵区的汝阳县进行试栽。结果表明,黄金梨在河南省西部浅山丘陵区表现良好;具有生长健壮、早果丰产、果实外观漂亮、风味独特、品质极佳、经济效益高等优良特性;该品种果实8月下旬成熟,平均单果重368.0 g,栽后第2年结果,第3年平均每667 m~2产量587 kg,栽后第5～7年每667 m~2产量2 500～3 000 kg。建园后第1～7年平均每年每667 m~2收益7 539.6元。该品种适宜在河南省西部浅山丘陵区推广栽植。
