在建设我国科技信息网络的过程中,省级节点的设计是整个网络设计的一个关键环节。省级节点不仅是国家网络中心与省内众多局域网、主机及终端用户之间的一个桥梁,还要承担省级网络信息中心(NIC)和网络运行中心(NOC)的任务。此外省级节点在地方信息资源建设、技术支持和信息服务等方面也处于十分重要的地位。本文所提出的省级节点的设计方案是以目前在Inetrnet网上最流行的UNIX/XWindows工作站和Linux/XWindows微机所组成的局域网为基础的,具有初始投资低、功能齐全、容易扩充等优点,故而具有在实际应用中加以推广的价值。
In the process of building China’s science and technology information network, the design of provincial nodes is a key link in the entire network design. Provincial nodes are not only a bridge between the National Network Center and many other LANs, hosts and end-users in the province, but also assume the responsibility of the Provincial Network Information Center (NIC) and Network Operations Center (NOC). In addition, provincial-level nodes also play an important role in the construction of local information resources, technical support and information services. The provincial node proposed in this paper is based on the LAN which is currently the most popular UNIX / XWindows workstation in Inetrnet network and Linux / XWindows microcomputer. It has the advantages of low initial investment, complete functions and easy expansion Has practical value in promoting.
