在职业院校的田径教学中,中长跑训练是一项非常重要的教学内容。传统的教学模式总是让学生感觉非常枯燥,不能调动学生的训练积极性。但是在推行素质教育的今天,中长跑训练在提高在校大学生的身体素质方面发挥着重要的作用,对青年学生身体素质的形成和发展有着重要的影响。特别是一些田径运动会上,中长跑在田径类项目中占有举足轻重的位置,因此,有很多高校就是在学生中选拔一些中长跑成绩较好的学生,把他们组织起来,进行短期的、突击性的训练,以便应对各种比赛。虽然,也能取得一定的成绩,但是,从全体学生中长跑项目成绩的提高和参赛运动员的长远发展等角度来考虑,这种方法是不科学的。从目前高校中长跑的教学现状来看,还存在着一些亟待解决的问题,我们应该结合目前的现状和在校大学生的心理和身体特点,对传统的训练方法进行必要的改革,制定出更有针对性、更适合素质教育和高校教学现状的中长跑训练模式。
