联合结构是充分利用钢与混凝土两种材料和结构的特性联合成为整体而共同工作的一种结构型式,同单一材料制成的结构相比可提高结构物的强度和刚度、节约钢材、降低造价,其技术经济效果十分显著。一般说来,凡是成功的结构设计,总是把它作为一个整体来考虑,并根据使用过程中荷载作用的性质,找出可能遭受破坏的薄弱部位,再进行调整和通盘规划,最后确定其合理的结构型式。因此在联合结构中,要使钢结构与混凝土结构联合成整体而共同工作,并有效地传递两者之间的全部剪力,是发展这种结构的前提。现在对于联合件的研究已得到普遍重视,今后趋势是利用现代科学仪器和实验手段,着重研究联合接点的破坏机理,以提出具有明确力学模型的强度和变形规律,使之在这方面有所突破。根据基本建设任务的需要,现已将这类结构列为国家科研规划中心课题的项目之一,说明这类结构是很有发展前途的。虽然这类结构已应用于铁路桥梁、厂房吊车梁、一些车间的平台梁板,但与国外相比,发展仍是缓慢的。因此,迫切需要结合我国的生产实际情况,加强科学研究,使这种结构不断得到发展,在工业建筑中发挥更大的作用。

Although this kind of structure has been applied to railway bridges, crane beams of factory buildings, and platform slabs of some workshops, compared with foreign countries, the development is still slow. Therefore, there is an urgent need to combine scientific production in China and strengthen scientific research so that this structure can be continuously developed and play a greater role in industrial construction.
