1990年11月,军委江主席来我部视察并题词,要求我们“为建设强大的机械化集团军而努力奋斗”。几年来,我们紧紧围绕江主席提出的这个重大课题,重点学习和应用邓小平新时期军队建设思想,积极开展对机械化部队建设重大问题的研究,取得了一批研究成果。其中,首长机关编写的一百多万字的《机械化集团军建设理论研究》等四本专著,已由军事科学出版社正式出版,有些研究成果还获得全军性奖励。我们把学习和研究的成果转化为决策,在战备、训练、管理、政治工作、后勤工作和技术保障等方面,初步积累了一些经验。近几年,部队工作不断迈出新步伐。 In November 1990, Chairman Jiang Zemin of the Central Military Commission came to inspect and inscribe my department and asked us to “work hard to build a powerful and mechanized group army.” Over the past few years, we closely focused on this important issue put forward by Chairman Jiang, focusing on studying and applying Deng Xiaoping’s thinking on army building in the new era and actively conducted major studies on major issues concerning the building of a mechanized military unit. We have also achieved a number of research results. Among them, the four monographs compiled by the head organ, including the “Research on the Theory of the Construction of a Mechanized Army Corps,” of more than a million words, have been officially published by the Military Science Press and some research results have also won the all-military rewards. We have translated the fruits of study and research into decision-making and have initially accumulated some experience in combat readiness, training, management, political work, logistics and technical support. In recent years, the military has continuously taken new steps in its work.
