以苏州低品位高岭土为原料,分别研究了直接煅烧和添加氢氧化铝煅烧制备3∶2型莫来石。通过XRF、DTA、XRD、IR等测试手段,研究了样品分别经1 000~1 500℃煅烧1 h后的相转变过程。结果表明:高岭土直接煅烧在1 500℃可生成不含方石英的3∶2型莫来石产品。添加Al(OH)3可以降低3∶2型莫来石的合成温度至1 300℃,但结晶度较低,提高煅烧温度虽然可提高结晶度,但刚玉相的出现降低了莫来石的氧化铝含量。
Taking low-grade kaolin in Suzhou as raw material, the direct calcination and the addition of aluminum hydroxide were studied to prepare 3: 2 type mullite. The phase transitions of the samples calcined at 1000 ~ 1 500 ℃ for 1 h were studied by means of XRF, DTA, XRD and IR. The results show that calcined kaolin calcined at 1500 ℃ can produce 3: 2 mullite without cristobalite. The addition of Al (OH) 3 can reduce the synthesis temperature of 3: 2 type mullite to 1300 ℃, but the crystallinity is low. Although increasing the calcination temperature can improve the crystallinity, the appearance of corundum phase reduces the oxidation of mullite Aluminum content.
