I like to lift weights when I was young, of course, influenced by families. My uncle, Tan Biao Biao, was regarded as a “middle-aged man in the arena.” He had already run a “mass body building” in Guangzhou and gained weight in many fitness programs. Chen Jingkai, the first Chinese to break the world record for weightlifting, went to practice here. His young brother Liu Ying was my earliest enlightening teacher. Very early obsessed with weightlifting, and perhaps because of their introverted reason. I remember the fifth grade primary school, I entered the amateur sports school in Guangzhou weightlifting class training, was not bad grades, but unfortunately encountered a “Cultural Revolution.” In order to avoid the “going to the countryside”, I chose to work as a coal mine worker, and the coal mine was huge and hundreds of us were recruited at once.
