当今科技与经济的结合给各国经济社会的发展产生了强有力的推动作用,也正是由于当今先进科技,尤其是信息技术与经济的结合,给社会造成了一种“非连续性”的变化。在这种“非连续性”变化下,保持现状不愿变革的组织则会在愈演愈烈的组织竞争中被淘汰。“非连续性”的社会变化需要用“非连续性”的理念来应对,查尔斯·汉迪所提出的三叶草组织就是一种颠覆性的理念设想。三叶草组织由核心部分、外包部分以及独立工作者三部分构成的革命性组织理念,从领导管理组织到组织管理实践活动,都是对传统组织设计理念的一种革命性创新,对于当今社会经济形势充满了不确定性的年代,三叶草组织具有很好的灵活适应能力与抗压能力。但尽管三叶草组织的组织构想在逻辑上能够适应变动的新环境,在管理实践活动中仍然存在着一些局限性。
