言语得体是说话的根本原则,本文论述了在用英语进行交际时,什么是言语得体。在英语教学中,学生言语不得体的现象比比皆是。本文列举了学生的英语口语表达不得体的现象,并分析了造成其英语口语表达不得体的原因,阐述了其英语口语表达不得体受到众多因素的影响,如文化背景是制约言语得体性的一个主要因素。最后,论述了如何培养学生使用得体的英语进行交际,其中培养学生的跨文化交际能力是英语教学中必不可少的一环,英语教师既要有意识地导入文化学习,又要引导学生积极主动地学习西方文化,注意英汉两种文化因素的差异性,处理好语言学习和文化学习的关系,处理好西方文化和中国文化的关系,从而能够灵活自如地运用地道、得体的英语进行交际,提高跨文化交际的能力,达到最佳的交际效果。
Decent speech is the fundamental principle of speaking. This article discusses what is decency when communicating in English. In English teaching, student speech abusive phenomena abound.
