1988~1994年从开花习性好的六千辛B与配合力好的盐粳2号B杂交后代中,育出综合二者优点的六盐B,再与BT型六千辛A连续回交,转育成生育期和株高不同的系列六盐不育系。6个不育系与3个恢复系双列杂交配合力测定表明,六盐189A一般配合力最好,其次为徐稻2号A、3726A,它们与六千辛A有显著差异;六盐186A一般配合力效应与六千辛A无显著差异,但始穗期早15天,有利于F1制种。恢复系中4482一般配合力最好。特殊配合力好的组合有六盐189A/4482、3726A/4482和六盐186A/4482等
