沈鹏先生称赞游寿先生“是杰出的学者、书法家、书法教育家”。游寿先生毕生从事文史、考古、书法艺术的研究与教学,游先生的书法教育基于广阔而深厚的学术造诣和文化修养,这是游先生的书法教育与一般写字教学的根本区别。游先生在1963年和1984年分别编印了两部书法教材,名为《历代法书选辑》和《历代书法选》, Mr. Shen Peng praised Mr. You Shou “is an outstanding scholar, calligrapher, calligraphy educator ”.
