The new company will design, manufacture and sell active matrix liquid crystal displays for TVs, projectors and data-graphic modules. With the start of production later this year, the joint venture will become Europe’s first company to produce very large LCDs. The European Community has conducted a survey of some of the companies involved in the joint venture. Because the European Community regards LCD as
