Objective To study the effect of psychological nursing on anxiety and complication in elderly patients with fracture. Methods A total of 130 elderly patients with fracture in our department were divided into two groups (n = 65) each. The different nursing modes were used to compare the nursing effects between the control group (conventional basic nursing) and the observation group (conventional nursing + psychological care) and Complication rate. Results After nursing, the number of moderate-severe anxiety patients (11 cases) in the observation group was significantly less than that of the control group (30 cases), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); the complication rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control Group 21.54%, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Psychological nursing for elderly patients with fractures can effectively relieve anxiety and reduce the complication rate of patients. The nursing method is worth learning from.
