Chylothorax is one of the most serious complications after resection of esophageal cancer. The incidence of chylothorax is reported to be 0.4% to 2.6% and 1.8% to 4.0% in domestic and international literature, respectively. The incidence of chylothorax after different anastomosis is different. The author summarizes the case for 10 years and reviews the literature as follows. 1 Clinical data 1.1 General information: Removal from November 1988 to December 1998
