Objective To investigate the effect of inner crowns on the total periodontal disease in gingival crevicutar fluid (GCF) by measuring the total amount of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) Impact. Methods Clinical cases were selected in 30 cases. The patients were treated with Ni-Cr alloy porcelain crowns and gold-platinum alloy porcelain crowns. The clinical samples were taken at 12 months after repair and GCF were taken. The total amount of GCF and MMP-2 The determination. Results At 12 months, there were significant differences in the index between the nickel-chromium alloy and the Au-Pt alloy group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between the Au-Pt alloy group and the pre-repair group (P> 0.05). Conclusion The total amount of MMP-2 in GCF can be used as an index to evaluate the degree of gingival tissue stimulation of porcelain crowns. Non-precious metals have an adverse effect on periodontal tissue.
