利用下面介绍的毛细现象的实验装置,能帮助学生研究润浸液体上升的高度与毛细管内径成反比的关系。一、装置构造用两块大小约20×20cm~2的普通透明玻璃abb’a’、acc’a’。再用很狭窄的透明玻璃条bb’c’c做成如图所示的劈形装置,保持∠bac很小,再用一根橡皮筋沿水平方向让acc’a’、abb’a’、cbb’c’三块玻璃按图1放置并固定。二、演示实验: 在水槽或饭盒盖内倒入适量自来水并注入数滴红墨水把水染红,将劈形玻璃装置按图1放置,学生就能很清楚地看到在劈形内的水面是双曲线。
