洋流(海流)是海洋中经常沿着一定路线和方向,并具有相对稳定速度流动着的巨大水体。它是海洋中最重要的水体运动形态之一。海洋中大部分水体都参与了这种运动,并波及到一定的深度。洋流是海洋中的“巨川”。但其流动规模较河流为大,流动界限不很清晰,多成闭合环流;流速愈深愈小,至某一深度后,其值接近于零。 Currents (currents) are large bodies of water that often follow a certain route and direction in the ocean and have a relatively steady flow. It is one of the most important forms of water movement in the ocean. Most of the water in the ocean participates in this movement and reaches a certain depth. Currents are the “great rivers” in the ocean. However, the flow scale is larger than that of rivers, and the flow boundaries are not very clear. They often become closed circulations. The smaller the flow velocity is, the smaller the depth is and the value is close to zero after reaching a certain depth.
