本文首先介绍用锗酸铋棱镜耦合器观察钛扩散LiNbO_3平面光波导模式及测量各模式的有效折射率的装置和方法.并利用1分级的转台测量了波导的TE_0、TE_1、TE_2各模式的有效折射率,得出的观测结果与理论相符.本文还介绍了利用光纤探测法测量波导傅输损耗的原理、装置和测量方法.给出了测量结果和此方法的测量精度.最后还对模式观测和损耗测量中的一些问题进行简单的讨论.
In this paper, we firstly introduce the device and method for observing the diffractive LiNbO_3 plane optical waveguide mode and measuring the effective refractive index of each mode by the bismuth germanium bismuth prism coupler. The effective modes of the TE_0, TE_1 and TE_2 modes of the waveguide are measured by a turntable Refractive index and the observed results are consistent with the theory.The principle, device and measurement method of optical fiber transmission loss measured by optical fiber detection method are also introduced in this paper.The measurement results and measurement accuracy of this method are given.Finally, And loss measurement of some of the issues for a simple discussion.
