The formation and development of soil in Shunde Ecological Park in Guangdong Province are influenced by five major factors, including climate, biology, topography, parent mother rock and man-made disturbance. Among them, human activities are the main causes of soil structure destruction and soil erosion. High acidity, low fertility, good soil quality is a common feature of the soil in the park. Among all kinds of soils, the area of the red soil is the largest, more than 70%, but the top soil is infertile, and soil erosion is serious. Due to the alluvium, the soil in the slope and valley tends to form relatively deep and fertile soil. Paddy soil has a long history of farming and has formed a latent layer and a pool, but soil fertility is not high. Peat soil has a higher content of organic matter, but the soil too acid, fast nutrient content is too low, it is difficult to direct use. Therefore, in order to give full play to the ecological role of soils in the park, it is necessary to take measures to adapt to local conditions and take measures to change the soil.
