在当代东西方学术界中,来自不同民族、宗教、文化背景的学者对“文明对话”给予了热情的回应和高度的重视。本文拟以杜维明先生多年来身体力行的“文明对话”论域和美籍伊斯兰学者赛义德·侯赛因·纳斯尔的文明对话中的“精神性”探讨为例,从以下六个层面进行分析比照:一、站在西方文化“马赛克”上的跨文化学者;二、反思启蒙,发掘自身传统的精神资源;三、寻求各自文明中的精神资源和超越性人文价值;四、在生态伦理层面寻求各自文明所蕴含的价值;五、文明对话中知识分子的角色和立场;六、参与主持回儒对话:促进伊斯兰与儒家文明对话实践。并对他们的文明对话的主张要旨和思想理念,进行宏观的比照和微观的解读。
In contemporary East-West academic circles, scholars from different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds have given enthusiastic responses and great attention to the “dialogue of civilizations.” This article intends to take the study of “spirituality” in Du Wei-ming’s “Civilization Dialogue” domain, which has been practicing for many years, and Sayeid Hussein Nasral, an American Islamic scholar, as an example, from the following six levels Analysis and comparison: First, the cross-cultural scholar standing on the western mosaic of “Mosaic”; second, reflecting on the enlightenment and excavating the traditional spiritual resources; thirdly, seeking the spiritual resources and transcendental humanistic values in their respective civilizations; fourthly, Seeking the value inherent in their respective civilizations; (5) the role and position of intellectuals in the dialogue of civilizations; (6) participating in and chairing the dialogue between Confucianism and Confucianism: promoting the dialogue between Islamic and Confucian civilizations. And carry out macroscopic comparisons and micro interpretations of the main ideas and ideological concepts of their dialogue with civilizations.
