治疗相关并发症是指在临床诊疗活动过程中因医疗行为而非疾病本身造成患者的损害,或虽未造成损害但导致患者延期出院等不良诊疗行为,包括诊断、治疗、护理失误及相关设施、设备引起的损害。内容涵盖医疗、护理、医院感染管理、医疗器械管理和运行、行政后勤等部门。新生儿重症监护病房(NICU)是治疗相关并发症的好发部门,NICU的患儿最脆弱,毫无防护能力,因此,相比成人,这些并发症更有可能带给他们伤害。一项前瞻性研究指出,在NICU中,平均每100个住院日中发生18件治疗
