1 999年全国体育科技工作会议于 1 1月 2～ 5日在辽宁沈阳召开。这是继原国家体委 1 994年 1 2月 ,在山东淄博召开第五次全国体育科技工作会议之后 ,在国家体育总局成立之后召开的一次跨世纪的重要会议。国家体育总局袁伟民副局长做了题为《加强创新 ,深化改革 ,把体育科技工作全面推向新世纪》的主题报告 ,李富荣副局长宣布了《关于颁布 1 999年国家体育总局体育科学技术进步奖的决定》和国家体育总局《关于颁授“体育科技荣誉奖”和表彰体育科技先进工作者的决定》,段世杰副局长做了题为《肩负起“科技兴体”的历史使命》的大会总结报告。国家体育总局科教司司长史康成还就《1 991～ 2 0 0 0年体育科技发展规划》的执行情况和《2 0 0 1～ 2 0 1 0年体育科技发展规划》(草案 )的有关问题做了说明。国家科技部副秘书长段瑞春做了题为《国家科技改革与发展》的报告。这次会议是认真贯彻全国技术创新大会和《中共中央、国务院关于加强技术创新 ,发展高科技 ,实现产业化的决定》精神 ,总结、研究、规划我国体育科技工作的改革与发展的一次重要会议。会议传出的信息 ,即“创新、改革、迎接新世纪”无疑将对我国体育科技创新 ,体育科技体制改革及未来 1 0年我国体育科技工作的发展起到极为重要的指导和推动作
1 999 National Sports Science and Technology Work Conference was held January 1 to January 2 in Shenyang, Liaoning. This is an important cross-century conference held after the establishment of the General Administration of Sport of the People’s Republic of China after the convening of the Fifth National Sports Science and Technology Conference held by the former State Sports Commission in January 1994 in Zibo, Shandong Province.
