To investigate the relationship between platelet activation and cerebral infarction, we used enzyme immunoassay to measure the changes of plasma α-granule membrane protein 140 and thromboxane B2 (TXB2) during acute cerebral infarction. 1 Materials and Methods 40 cases of cerebral infarction are in line with the Second National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference of Chinese Medical Society revised diagnostic criteria for cerebrovascular disease, confirmed by skull CT, excluding cerebrovascular and
