The purpose of rescue team members received a sudden call of respiration cardiac arrest after the call, rushed to the scene on the way to give eyewitnesses phone guidance on how to immediately resuscitate cardiopulmonary resuscitation, analysis of its impact on the effectiveness of first aid. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted between December 2008 and December 2010 in which 108 patients with respiratory arrest who called for resuscitation were classified into non-instruction group (n = 61) and guidance group (n = 47) according to whether the telephone call was received or not ), The differences between the two groups in the success rate of recovery and the survival rate of discharged patients (patients) were observed. Results In the guide group of 47 patients, the resuscitation success rate was 25.5%, of which 7 survived and 5 had no sequelae. In the non-guide group of 61 patients, the respiration rate was recovered in 4 and the success rate was 6.6% , One case of plant was discharged from the hospital. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the success rate of resuscitation and the survival rate of discharge, and there were differences in the training of CPR. Conclusion The first witness on the scene waited for the arrival of professional ambulance staff and received the telephone guidance to complete the primary life support and gain valuable time for the subsequent recovery, which greatly enhanced the success rate of recovery.
